Augustinerplatz is one of my favorite parts of Freiburg. In warm afternoons and cool summer nights, people flock here to simply hang out, drink some beers, and kill time. People of all ages come here to chill out. The steps is the best spot to get a view of the square. In the afternoon you might be lucky to spot some street performers. Yesterday there was a small group engaged in some acting-cum-interpretative performance. The audience were also unconsciously doing their own performance.
